We occasionally RP in efforts to expand the story and mythos of the game we're working on developing.  Although, we're probably going to try and get a little turn based going on the forum - play by post.

This is still within General Discussion.  It's just that special room that no one talks about.

Dawn, I think the reason you weren't invited is because this was originally a pet project of cplan and whitelynx and they were still in the process of getting underway.  Unless I'm mistaken though, it has now met its untimely demise.  They might be willing to resurrect it for you though, so you might PM or email them.

There were some questions about Guardian's avatar, and Reynard was right, it's Angemon from Digimon.  Here's what it looks like blown up:

To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them: to dye, to sleep
No more; and by a sleep, to say we end
The heartache, and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir too? 'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To die to sleep,
To sleep, perchance to dream; aye, there's the rub,
For in that sleep of death, what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life:
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressors wrong, the poor mans contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office, and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovered country, from whose borne
No traveler returns, puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have,
Than fly to others that we know not of.
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er, with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment,
With this regard their currants turn away,
And lose the name of action.

You need to finish the soliloquy itself - the best part of it occurs when he contemplates how man may make his own peace with a dagger.

Just saw the movie.  Wow was that deep.  Gimme a day to let it sink in, and I'll have an overall review ready sometime this weekend.

Alright, a question:  The newspaper says "Hero Retires".  What does said hero do upon retirement?

Also, 1000 karma and a little tag or something for the first person to give me the full (from the graphic novel / comic book) version of the quote at the end, as well as who says it.

"The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'save us!' and I'll look down, and whisper 'no.'"

Rorschach's Journal, October 12th, 1985.

Also, when will people learn that the best place to get good quality trailers is Apple.com?

yes, I had to get some moist towlettes and go to the bathroom for a few minutes after the trailer.

Fanboy sign #23: coming in one's shorts at a movie trailer.

I'll be throwing out a review of the movie from a cinematic standpoint this weekend.

They do.  We're still alive and well.

Ooooooh, parachute indeed.

You know, Guardian, posting that your login info is present in PUBLIC POSTS is a good way to get your account HACKED TO PLUPERFECT HELL!
