It looks like 6 is the magic number. I'd like 7, so if anyone wants to try and find one more player, please feel free.

Otherwise, I will start things up on December 15th.

We've got a busy weekend, so that's the earliest I'd like to start it. :P

Welcome to (or back to) the wonderful world of Mafia!

Due to the lack of activity in the forums of late, the Great Morgul has allowed me to go ahead and start up a Mafia game, without use of the Queue.
Essentially, we got an itch to play, and to teach a new friend the ropes, so we decided to open up a small, simple game.

This will be a basic game, open setup. 7-9 players.

1. Morgul
2. Whitelynx
3. Persekore
4. Caenus
5. contingencyplan
6. Burstaholic
7. Windshipper
8. Erica
9. Kmd4390

I'm a day late, but at least I'm not a buck short. And hey! We have 9 players. I'll send out roles, and everyone, please post CONFIRMED here, in thread, that you have your role, and have no questions about it. (Obviously, if you HAVE questions, PM me, silly.)
Once everyone posts, I will begin the game. Cheers!

I had the post restriction for Day Two since I didn't post enough meaningful content Day One.

It was mod imposed. I wouldn't punish myself for lack of activity Day One.   :downs:

Y'know Tokes, I do read the entire thread when I catch up, so there is no need to constantly repost. It's a little silly.
I had the post restriction for Day Two since I didn't post enough meaningful content Day One. Is that confusing?
How does a self-imposed post restriction make me scum? It seems a counter-intuitive move for anyone to make.

I still don't think I really deserve the nomination...
To answer Fated's question: Honestly, I think KMD is one of the more balanced players this game, and is one of the closest to being town.
His posts make me believe that he is honestly looking for the scum.
He's probably the most qualified for a nomination in my book.
Other than that, I'd lean toward Fated. I was 50/50 on Windy, but am leaning town now.
Tokes, Corthos and Morgul I would not nominate. I am uncertain on the three of them, though Morgul seconding my nomination is really weird.

Wow. Definitely shocked that I've been nominated, considering I've been probably the least active player this entire game. If you can even call me that.
The restriction curtailed my ability to post quickly, then go about my business, since these past two months have been kicking my butt.

Review Edit: Aaaand I've been seconded. The fact that more than one person is putting their faith in me is kind of humorous in a way. You have no idea whether or not I've been reading the game. In fact, I have not yet completely caught up since the last time I have participated.
In all likelihood, I have no balanced view as to who is or is not the remaining Sith.

I'm going to think about this nomination, and read through the thread... if no one else is seconded, I will accept and challenge.

Haha! I'm finally responding.

Okay, I'll start simple, maybe then I can come up with some better questions.
You've always been such a huge fan of both Batman and Superman, so this is something I've always wondered, but never asked: Who do you like the best?

Well, I'd like to take this moment to thank you guys for all your patience with this game. It was almost rushed together, since losing the original game file, and I wasn't an extremely attentive/experience mod.
I think I'll play co-mod for a while 'til I learn how to make better set-ups. :D

Don't worry about it, KilGrey! Thanks for stepping in!

Roles etc. will be up soon.

Mafia / Re: [7] Deep Space Nine Mafia - NIGHT THREE

They had made their choice quickly yesterday. Too quickly. They paid for their mistake with the blood of their friend.
The crew were more weary than ever as they headed out. Many were almost ready to give up.
But their weariness was interrupted as they re-entered the bridge to a sight different from that of the past few days.

There wasn't a body. Instead, there stood Windshipper, Kilgrey and Caenus, smiling smugly. In Windshipper's raised hand was MissTake's neck, as the rest of her dangled above the floor.
Kilgrey walked up to the group, a deliciously wicked smile on her face.
"We should thank you for opening the door for us. The Alpha Quadrant will be ours soon."
She then turned to Windshipper and MissTake. Windy released her and she crumpled to the ground. Kilgrey leaned down and raised MissTake's chin with the point of her phaser.
"Thank you for your patience, my dear." And she fired the phaser up through her mouth. MissTake fell.
Rising, Kilgrey turned to Caenus. "Whenever you're ready."
Caenus grinned at Windshipper, who returned a wicked glance.

The bridge went dark.

Night Three, MissTake, Lieutenant Commander Worf, Vanilla Townie, was slain.

The Mafia has won.

Guess who they were.  :c00l:

They could take no chances. There was no time. It had already been decided.
"Let's just do this," Caenus said, raising his phaser, and shooting Corthos in the neck.

Corthos fell, and with his last gurgled breaths he said, "I love you, Keiko."

Day Three, Corthos, Chief of Operations Miles O'Brien, Vanilla Townie, was lynched.

EDIT. I lied. There are 8 alive, and it takes 5 to lynch. No deadline yet. But there may be one if action is not to my likings.  :rockout:

Everyone awoke grim the next day. With the sudden mysterious loss of Erica, things were not looking good. They only hoped that they could come to a better arrangement now.

This morning, there was only one body on the bridge, but this one was a depressing sight indeed.
"NO!" Captain Sisko ran to the spot where his son lay. Jake Sisko was on the ground, contorted, splayed on the ground. It seemed his neck had been snapped.
As Sisko cried, the rest of the group hung their heads. Time was running out.

Night Two, Burstaholic, Jake Sisko, Town Mason, was slain.

It is now Day Three. Continue.

Erica has PMed me with her intention to cease playing, so here we go.
Due to the fact that this game is pretty far down the road (well over 20 pages is too much to catch up on for most), and we've already called in one replacement, we're taking the other route.

Day Two, Erica, Elim Garak, Town Cop, was modkilled.

Day Two is over. It is now Night Two. Get me your night actions. NOW.

Awright, folks.
As it stands, the day hasn't been going on that long, but action has ... stopped.
SO, for now, I give you all until SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th, by MIDNIGHT, CENTRAL TIME.
If action does not pick up before then, I will MAKE IT SOONER.

Vote count pending.
