An "R" after a rank denotes someone who has retired.

The Terrans do not separate their ranks based off of branch. They do, however, have Non Commissioned Officers (NonComs).

Praetorian is B10 - Black Operative. That's his official rank. Hence the reason why he doesn't exist. It's a standard Black Op perk.

This is over a year old.. almost 18 month old... but I realized I was a bit dumb. In reality, he's a B11R/B10H. Basically, he was head of intelligence, but now has an honorary rank of black operative.

...This is important. Or Might be. For reasons untold! (until they are.)
