HUD Contest Vote
« on: January 31, 2006, 12:01:07 am »
Ok, here is how this will work. There will be a vote thread opened once everything's in, and finished. This thread will be for the community at large to vote on. This vote doesn't decide the winner of the contests; rather it gives us some info to go on (I don't want to pick a HUD people hate), and will really help us decide which ones to include, even if they don't win. That will be open for three days. After that, the Devs will vote on it the next Developer Meeting, which is on Thursdays. Then we will post the winner that night. After that, we'll talk to the winner about getting him the prize.

Also, there is the possibility that we might include members of the contest in our Development Team even if they don't win. Those people will be contacted individually.

Thanks for your interest, and patience. We would make the decision quicker, but we've a great deal going on behind the scenes. You'll like what we've got for you, when you see it.

I presume this meeting will be closed? Or will it?

It will be closed to Developers, Caenus, and Dawn. (I'll let Burst in if he wants a say.)

cool
Merciful Father, I have squandered my days with plans of many things. This was not among them. But at this moment, I beg only to live the next few minutes well. For all we ought to have thought, and have not thought; all we ought to have said, and have not said; all we ought to have done, and have not done; I pray thee God for forgiveness.

I'm not sure I've ever seen burst on the forums, and I see him less and less on the servers. I think he might have gotten a life... Duh, Duh, Duh, Another one bites the dust...

Nah, he's just been super busy with work and class.
