You get two weeks off . . . everyone else gets three.

I wish I knew why morgul threw that whole Stephen King thing in there.  Nice little bit of randomness though.

At least I got Christmas.

You have the ability to do so, but you fail to take Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle into account.  The first time you do so, you are scattered across the galaxy into millions of quantum particles.

So much for that.

I wish I could dilate time WITHOUT a ship, but rather with psychokinetic powers, and from a reverse perspective.  (i.e. I wish I could freeze the rest of the world - nice little vacation for me and my sweetie, all on the lunch hour).

You don't have as much work to do and the semester is over.  However you find yourself stricken with terminal boredom.  You die two days before Christmas.

I wish I had the ability to dilate time at will.

Einstein, eat your heart out!

You sort your life out and then discover that you aren't doing anything worthwhile.  You live in despair at your uselessness.

I wish I didn't have to work all week next week.

(Contingency, I'll help you guys as best I can . . .)

yeah, that's true.  I was thinking of this all in reference to a single player game that might be installed to a machine via DVD-ROM.  I forgot about the server side LAG that would create.  If you're looking to determine the velocity vector and as such relate the motion of the machine to the world it rests in, why not relate the vector to the point that represents the center of gravity for the ship itself?  That would relate each individual's velocity to his/her relative position.  I dunno, I'm so tired, and I don't really know enough about what you guys are designing - I'm just a mathematics major talking out my ass.  ;D

You have them . . . but they are quickly confiscated by the government.  Your tongue is cut out to ensure your silence.

I wish I didn't have to mess with FREAKING EIGENVECTORS AND EIGENVALUES!!!

Stupid homework.

Glad I could piss you off and make you happy all at the same time.

 :o

Anywho . . . The semester is over but you snap mentally when you discover some loophole that would have kept you from ever having to take Scientific Computing.

(Ironically, they offered to let me take Grad level courses for dual credit - 3 hours billed to both my master's credit AND my 4000 level elective credit.  Good thing I won't be doing that)

I wish I could be there to see if when you snap (ready with a cattle prod and a straightjacket).

A thought.  Why not treat space as fluid instead of a vacuum?  Then velocity will simply be relative to the space you occupy.

Also by making space fluid, you can assign a vector field to any area of space.  Then assign curl and div values to various points which can in turn be used to affect certain "free floating" objects such as asteroids.

Damn you.  Ah well, I will restrain myself from doing to much competitive posting.

Ah, who am I kidding?  We'll see whose post count goes higher (you use the admin panel to mess with it and I swear you'll wish you'd never been born).   ;)

It's not the busywork it is now, but now it's an in depth study of . . . LINEAR ALGEBRA!!!

He he he, I know Brian's weakspot.  ;D

I wish for a white Christmas (and by that, I mean more than a light dusting of snow - I'm from Wyoming people!  WHERE ARE THE 4 FOOT SNOWDRIFTS I REMEMBER!?!?!?!)

Heh, I'm stuck with the integrated PIECE OF UNMITIGATED CRAP that Dell put in my laptop . . . for now.  At least my PC can run HALO and Enter the Matrix.

Good stuff.  The chances of me having an opportunity to play CS before Christmas break may be pretty slim though.

Bastard!!  There, now I've posted my reply.  :)

Nah, I hate leaving posts that have nothing intelligent to say (i.e. spam).

But yeah, that's my tactic - log on, and post til no one replies.

Yikes . . .

Forum stalkers are the bane of mass posters like me - I like to see my name under EVERY "last post" section, and then one of you jackasses posts and I just HAVE to respond.  ;)

I have a Radeon Xtasy which is a PIECE.  Quit whining.

Dang . . . I can't imagine being a serious enough gamer to need THAT thing.

You visit Texas whenever you want, but you are only allowed to visit Presidio (border town, sister of Ojinaga).

I wish the freaking weather would settle down.

I am Caenus (OH GOD RUN IN TERROR!  THE MAD SPAMMER HAS ARRIVED!!).

 ;D

I am also a GoRC H3ad and sadly won't be joining the GN:EF clan, although I will be supporting G33x Nexus in any way possible.

I am VP of a graphic design and web hosting company (and am also the head webmaster/coder/programmer).

I am not on the development team for Precursors, although I AM going to be helping Morgul and Contingency with webdesign and such (as well as being a mathematics consultant - this'll be interesting, eh morgul?)

Anywho . . . Yeah.  That's me.

Jawohl mein Fuhrer!

Dawnet is more than happy to have you on our servers, I just can't wait to see some work done on Precursors (and to pwn you in CS).  ;)
