The Wallth Are Thoundproof / Not Safe For Work
« on: March 16, 2008, 01:46:54 am »
Ok, I think this is a good thread to have. Here we can post all kinds of random shit, and laugh about it.

First off, we have this little gem:

Her tits look phallic, and she looks like she just bit down on a cockroach. A sour cockroach. My title for this is image is, "Are we having fun yet?"

Now, onto this:

I'd comment about it, but then I'd just be being a dick.

Ok, the floor is open to the rest of y'all.

Because not everyone's ass is as fuckable as yours.

See, a couple of years ago stuff like this would be commonplace at 4am while working on Precursors...

...Wait, did I block all that out, or something? Because I don't remember.....

True - that's the way that David and I run our band...
There's only one song that can be considered political/social commentary

Your mom's political commentary!

You didn't. But, the computer froze. So you still have to do it again. By hand. In Binary. Because I'm a dick.

I wish that inspiration would strike.

Haha I would too!
Considering we're engaged haha

:rara: OMG! Really? You like soooo totally forgot to mention that! I mean, god, what's he going to say when he like, you know, finds out about us? OMG. :rara:

Well, the Dentist calls you up on Monday, offering you a 'in home visit'. Intrigued, you find yourself agreeing. On Tuesday, at the appointed time, you open your door, letting in the dentist, and six masked men. As they carry you off, you think you hear one of them mentioning something about 'sith'... but you're not sure. You're drugged, and before you know it, you're waking up in a very cheesy villian-esque room. There, you find out a jilted young man from 6th grade has been obsessing over you for years now, fancies himself some sort of 'evil sith overlord' and is going to use 'the power of the darkside' to persuade you to marry him. Ah, well, you do what every self respecting female would do in this situation. You kick him in lightsaber, and run like hell. You tell your story to police, and then to the news station. Pretty soon the story of the 'Starwars Staker' is being told all over the country. Creative headlines lines like, "Luke StarStaker captures personal Leia" are all over the news. Eventually, the inevitable happens. George Lucas sues the ever loving shit out of you, for copyright infringement. You get bitch slapped with the entire encyclopedia of copyright law so fast and so hard, you don't even wake up until you've lost everything, and more.

Hey, just goes to show: some doctors shouldn't make house calls.

I wish it wasn't so late. Boo, Hissss... I hate work. Especially since it's Inventory.

...I made these forums... WITH MY BARE HANDS! WALKING UPHILL BOTH WAYS!

...anyway. My point was, considering I created these forums, what kinds of standards do you really think they'd have? I mean, come one, we have a hanged elmo emote. Really, that should tell you what kind of place this is.

If not....

We'll educate you right quick and in a hurry-like.

You do. The commands (which need to be done as root) are as follows:

Code: [Select]
emerge --sync && emerge -C gaim && emerge pidgin

However, you don't know how to log in as root, and once you figure it out your computer explodes.

I wish I wasn't still at work.

Shauna Taylor.

I don't know who you are, but you're easy enough to track down.

Your picture is attached.

Don't freak out, I'm not a stalker - I'm just trying to comment on the absurdity of trying to hide your identity on a forum comprised almost entirely of geeks.

 :clint:

...And I'm at work, atm, and I figured that out just by the e-mail, oh, and hour ago.

Hey, Shauna-face! Ginny says Hi! (And she'll say hi when we get off work... she's stuck on a register.)

btw, check out the rest of the forums, and say hi in the new users thread! (there's a bunch of cool people on the forums here. :) Oh, and bring friends!)

Hmmm . . . Chris . . . talking about sodomy and fuckable asses . . .

Chris, if you own a strap on, so help me . . .

 :elmohanged:

:uhm: What the hell would I need a strap on for. And if you say I wouldn't be the one using it, then... well, don't make me explain why I'd never be into it. Let's just say that if I'm not the one pitching, then there's no point in playing ball.

And now for something, completely different.

Elephants!

I didn't. I called Dave a whore instead. Boya.

I wish that I didn't have to work, because I was supporting myself with money made either through Emerwyn's art, or through my writing.

Characters / [Canon]: Sean Krim
« on: March 13, 2008, 10:19:58 pm »
Sean Krim
by Christopher S. Case

Full Name: Sean Micheal Krim
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 195 lbs
Eye Color: Dark Brown
Hair Color: Bald
Heritage: League
Affiliation: League (Executive Officer, LN Archigos II)

Personality: Sean is a very cool, calculating person. He seems friendly, when he's in the mood. Often, he'll simply smile, wishing to remain a mystery. Most women find his enigmatic personality alluring. Combined with his looks, and suave nature, he can easily seduce most members of the female sex.

Beneath his cool exterior is a raging beast. He is jealous, possessive, paranoid, and sadistic. He craves power, specifically the power he can have over people through pain. Giving pain has become an addiction of his, and while most would give in to obsession, he's turned it into a tool, something he can use to help channel and focus his impulses to his advantage.

Quirks: Sean as a slight, subtle twitch to the sound of an angry man yelling. His father often raged at him, beating him, and beating his mother. It was this that taught Sean his disrespect and loathing of women, but also gave him his only real fear: fer of his father's retribution. As such, even now that he's well on his way to excelling his father's ambitions, he still fears the man.

History: Sean's father is an Admiral, and a man obsessed with power. He was brutal, doling out a pittance of praise with a handful of scorn. His father's rage even cost Sean's mother her life. Her death jaded Sean to death, and seeing his father grab at whatever ptoower and control he had shaped Sean into the monster he is.

After his mother's death, Sean promised himself he would become better then his father in every way. Better at controlling others, better at gaining power. He applied himself to the goal of becoming a ship captain, knowing that once in control of such a powerful vehicle, he would be in a position to start challenging his father's support. He could instill loyalty in his crew, and through them, expand outward and create a base of power not based off fear, but off respect and accomplishment. His only roadblock was his rival, David Case.

David and Sean had become rivals David's first day at the academy. What took him years to do only took David months. Instead of bullying David, Sean decided to befriend David. They stayed friends until their last year at the academy. Sean had recently started dating a girl that David had wanted to date for a while. When the girl was found dead, beaten to death, David tried to get Sean convicted of the murder. Sean actually had killed her, but his father was powerful enough to cover his son's tracks. Sean learned that even after years of trying to instill loyalty in David, that the younger man would never bend to another's will. Since that day the two of them have been rivals.

Both Sean and David were up for command of the Archigos II. David got the command, and Sean received the posting of Executive Officer, Second Shift. While this meant he would get some command experience (since the Captain was only on the first shift), it also meant that he could never be transferred to first shift unless Glyse, David's sister, was transferred.

Characters / [Canon]: Kaeya Hattori
« on: March 13, 2008, 08:53:08 pm »
Kaeya Hattori
by Christopher S. Case

Full Name: Kaeya Hattori
Race: Artificial Intelligence (LN Archigos II)
Gender: Female
Age: 28
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 105lbs
Eye Color: Yellow
Hair Color: Black
Heritage: League
Affiliation: League (Commander, LN Archigos II)

Personality: Kaeya tends to be quiet and reserved in most situations. She has a very mature sense of humor, but she tends to keep it in reserve for when it's least expected. (She enjoys catching people off guard, and some of her fondest memories are the looks of surprise on her opponent's face.)

Since becoming an AI, however, Kaeya has also adopted a detachment as a way of reminding herself that she's no longer a human. David is often chiding her that just because she may no longer be human it doesn't mean she needs to abandon her humanity. She's still struggling with that idea.

Quirks: Her primary quirk is that her body is merely a physical shell, a part of the ship, and as such, it ca be repaired in the same manner. She still feels pain, but her body can be destroyed without actually causing harm to her. She can also repair it at a rate impossible for most species.

An extension of this is her ability to change her physical appearance. She can change just her cloths, or her entire appearance at whim. There are even times she changes her species. (Rarest of all is when she becomes a hybrid Grey-Sooni-Human; those moments would scar the witnesses for the rest of their lives... if she left any.)

History: Kaeya entered the League Military Academy at the age of twelve. While most students are forced to wait until they are thirteen, she had already proven herself a strategic genius. Becoming the League's Chess champion at fifteen was entirely expected, and didn't even garnish any praise from her peers. Only her father expressed his pride in the amazing mind she possessed. Kaeya took everything in stride, pushing herself to her mental and physical limits on a daily basis. Because of her age and her Japanese Heritage, she endured merciless taunts from most of her peers, until she neatly would break and arm or sometimes even a finger. Generally she did this in such a way that she could never be linked to the accident, without embarrassing the bully. On the few occasions she did get in trouble she accepted the punishment with pride, knowing that her assailant would never be able to rebuild their respect with the other students. By the time she graduated at 17, she had no enemies, and only a handful of friends.

Kaeya's first assignment was on the front lines. She was the Flight Dispatcher, relaying orders to the defense pilots, and handling decisions that had to be made on the spot, and couldn't be relayed. It was here that she met David Case, her eventual captain and friend. They dated for a few months, but Kaeya was reassigned, and the relationship ended. A few years later, they were both assigned to the Archigos I, and they renewed both their relationship and their friendship. While the relationship didn't last, (Glyse was a huge thorn in Kaeya's side, and to this day, she has some negative feelings towards her) their friendship and respect did. When David became captain of the Archigos, he promoted her to head of security. A few years later, he specifically requested her for duty on the Archigos II

During an unexpected encounter with an unknown alien force  on their first mission, David was forced to activate the ship's organic core. This core was originally designed to accept a person as it's template for the Artificial Intelligence. However, this system was deactivated because of concerns about it's mental stability and just where such a creature's loyalties would lie. Kaeya sacrificed herself, allowing the ship to take her, and therefore became the ship's Artificial Intelligence. In truth, Kaeya Hattori died, and a new entity with all of her memories and most of her personality was reborn, in her image. This event was very traumatic for Kaeya, and she sometimes wonders if she'll ever come to grips with what she has become.
