I just realized I'm a creepy forum stalker. I sit on the forums almost constantly. I mean, look at this: on the forums stats page, under most time online: morgul 18h 53m. Yeah, I spend waaaaay too much time online.

woot! We should hold a Forum Stalker award... every month we check the stats, and give out awards. :-p

That's not a bad idea - we have several statistics, and we can code up others as the need arises. We could likely just have a thing on the main board area that shows records - e.g., most posts total, most posts in a day, most time online, lurker award (fewest posts over the most time online), etc. I'm sure we could set it up where it automatically disqualifies at least forum admins and / or mods, since they're going to be (or should be) the most active on the forums anyways.

Forum stalkers are the bane of mass posters like me - I like to see my name under EVERY "last post" section, and then one of you jackasses posts and I just HAVE to respond. ;)

Nah, I hate leaving posts that have nothing intelligent to say (i.e. spam).
But yeah, that's my tactic - log on, and post til no one replies.

Ah, who am I kidding? We'll see whose post count goes higher (you use the admin panel to mess with it and I swear you'll wish you'd never been born). ;)

I guess I'm the only loser with no life, a laptops, and a wireless connection in most of the places he goes. It's not my fault the first tab I open in firefox is these forums, and then the GoRC forums. Sheesh. :P

I'm a forums whore. I've eased over the thousand mark on every forum I've ever enrolled in. Except this one of course, but I'm still working on it.

I go by posts more than I do time . . . I could log in and leave the forums minimized on my computer all day if I wanted to.

See, I do that in a sense. I bring up the forums, and then I check them about once every half an hour or so.. and reply, or just read if I want to. However, number of posts is a good indication how how much a person participates. Then again, you could do something like posts per minute, or something that might be a good indication of how active a person is. That would be neat.

Or how about posts per minute logged in? Because you have posts per day, but that's highly misleading in my case because I'll go three days without logging in.

I'm only 9 hours and 11 minutes and I've still got almost 100 more posts. ;D Oh well. You're soon to see a bit of a decline in my posting . . . I'll explain why soon enough.
