I posted in the novel's section (here:
http://forums.g33xnexus.com/index.php/topic,657.0.html) a link to the original manuscript that I wrote and lost years ago. My sister found a disk in a pile of forgotten school stuff, and sure enough it's literally the version from the last time I worked on it. So, while it's not done, this is as done as I've ever had anything on the novel be. So, go read, and enjoy seeing where I had been going with it. Who knows, I might finish it with the original ideas intact, just to see what it could have been. We'll see.
