Nice. I like the overall shape... only thing I'd be worried about is that I don't see very strong supports holding all the pieces together. That might just be the angles those shots were taken from tho. I'd definitely like to see this one with some texturing.

Hey, lynx, note that this is an ORBITAL fighter - my guess is that since there is no friction in space, you wouldn't really need too many supports.

Hmmm . . .

. . . yeah . . . I'm feeling a sudden lack of stability here.

* Reynard hehe, super strong alloy?

Basicaly the whole idea is to be able keep hostles from landing. The ability to manuver quickly in uper orbit (bordering on atmosphere and actuly upper atmosphere) would alow you to pick appart anything that you couldn't take in open space. Missles allow for the ship to fire and forget, and the large pulse weapon is for larger vessles, which would be vunerable in orbit.

Aye like large transports that must enter at a certain angle, a certain speed etc or burn up in atmosphere. Hit them with a pulse, knock them even the slightest bit off course and disable engines so it rolls into a freefall. Show me the crew that would be happy about that and I'll show you a green donkey.  ::)

I think he's talking about stability in flight.  When something is THAT thin, Bernoulli's principle will create turbulence beneath the structure.

In easier terms to understand: "Oh shit, where'd the wings go?!!!!!!"
"Just because my math may tell lies doesn't mean that I don't understand the quantum mechanics of it all." --Caenus

The popular videogame "Doom" is based loosely around the time Satan borrowed two bucks from Vin Diesel and forgot to pay him back.
