Terranian Voting districts.
« on: June 12, 2006, 11:57:42 am »
I have divided the globe into Terranian voting districts for their republican government. IO tried to stick along borders and natural geography as much as possible.

Now were trying to name them, so if anyone would like to post a name, we're open to suggestions.

Interesting. So what's the motivation for your choices?

Also, who's "we" (assuming "were" => "we're")?

At any rate, looking forward to seeing what you do with this, and where we can fit this in the game.

"we" is he and I. This is basically how earth's broken up now, but the Terran's republic. :)

I noticed the USA still has the same area without alaska and hawiwii. Perhaps through the time that it takes for the world to become the peoples republic of terra changed the voting areas to land masses or area devided by mountains? just a thought.

I left the Continental US as is because Morgul and I were talking about rebels and things still left there, so I figured that the US would be too unstable to be a voting district or to split up. I don't know this is all subjective. It's what it's here for right.

Personally, I like it the way it is. It seems to fit with my idea of how earth is going to be.

Are you looking for names like the ones we have now, or do you want changed names based on what would / might have happend after the wars. Are they all supposed to be the same race? Or are they all mostly distinguised and have their own agendas?

They're uninhabited now . . . why is it so unreasonable for them to be uninhabited in the future?
Merciful Father, I have squandered my days with plans of many things. This was not among them. But at this moment, I beg only to live the next few minutes well. For all we ought to have thought, and have not thought; all we ought to have said, and have not said; all we ought to have done, and have not done; I pray thee God for forgiveness.

what is the political flavor of the time(i.e. For the greater good, babies should be less smiley! etc.)

would extravagant adjectives be out of the question?

Yes, I made this....
